Hydra Part worm drives are high quality rotary bearing worm drive units operated hydraulically via the use of a hydraulic motor.

With the use of a worm and wheel drive design they deliver an upper end capacity high torque with a low end controllable speed! The key advantage to worm and wheel drive units is the capability to lock dead when the unit is stopped, unlike some equipment that can potentially be pulled round by the load it is holding. They are commonly used in the fine control of upright masts, hydraulic grab attachments and hydraulic positioning equipment.
